Just 14 days away from the world premiere of our new show Commercial Kings with Rhett and Link on IFC.

Making Local Commercials Global

The show follows YouTube sensations (and all-round great guys) Rhett and Link as they take the art of local commercials to all new heights.

Of course, trying to convince every-day business owners to do the kinds of over-the-top, often ridiculous things that can achieve YouTube glory is not ever easy.

We think the hysterical adventures (and misadventures) of Rhett and Link will appeal to everyone, while those of you into the filmmaking side of things will get a kick out of the making-of aspect of the show.

The two of us sure had fun making it!

Do You Speak Cat?

Here’s a sneak peek at the reveal of one of this season’s commercials, made for a woman who can both speak “Cat” and communicate with them telepathically. She runs a Holiday Hotel for cats that needs a business boost:

You might’ve seen this one already…if so, it’s worth a second look.

Heavy Hill has his own trash pick-up service…and he’s as big a character as you could hope for. Enjoy!

Announcing Our New TV Show: Commercial Kings with Rhett and Link

Catch our new show this summer on the fabulous “always on, slightly off” IFC. Commercial Kings with YouTube sensations Rhett and Link begins airing June 24th.

Rhett and Link have hoped to do this show for a long time. After teaming up with Reveille (the studio behind The Office and The Biggest Loser) they sold their very funny pilot to IFC.

So Where Do We Come In?

Upon being green-lit for series, Rhett and Link and Reveille chose us as the show runners and production house for Commercial Kings. It’s an honor to be a part of the Rhett and Link franchise, and flattering to be working with industry giant Reveille.

Our Office is a Lot More Fun

Having Rhett and Link in our bays every day has been a real hoot. They’re great guys…not only very talented, but also really good people. The kind of people you want to be in the trenches making a TV show with. Smart, passionate about their craft, considerate of others…and very, very funny.

Here’s a little video the guys put together from their Joke Productions’ edit bay to announce the show to their YouTube fans.

Local Commercials as an Art Form

The whole journey began when Rhett and Link made this fake commercial several years ago:

It received such a tremendous response that they started making “real” local commercials.
