Featured Kickstarter Project: TILT

We’re starting a new feature here at the blog called “Featured Kickstarter Project.”

Kickstarter offers a way for independent filmmakers to raise money for their projects through crowd-source funding…in other words, we all pull together to help out our fellow filmmakers.

Now, if we all gave to every film that asked…well, we’d all be broke. We think it’s important to find projects that you’d want to see made, and give a small amount, even if it’s $1. In many cases, you get something for your money.

The first film we’ve pledged to ($25) is TILT, from Phil Holbrook, Julie Keck, and Jessica King.

We’ve also added them to our sidebar (look to the right) as our featured Kickstarter project. In the future, we may add others. In addition to helping out the movie, our $25 entitles us to a DVD.

What’s more, if they don’t make their goal (and they BETTER!) we won’t be charged.

For now, we’re excited about TILT and hope you’ll consider helping this filmmaking trio make their goal. Just 11 days to go.

Read all about their project on their Kickstarter page, and check out their awesome blog.

Great feature Biago. The Tilt peeps are doing some really cool things with New Media and getting their project off the ground. It’s great to see more people taking notice.

I’m going to go see about getting a DVD. =)

@Dave: We agree. It can be hard with our schedule to keep up with everyone, but each time we look, Phil, Julie, and Jessica are being awesome. Wish we were so cool :-)

@Phil: Keep doing what you’re doing. We look forward to seeing TILT on the big screen!
