Confession: Why Have We Been In Hiding?

Miss You!

Twitter. Facebook. Google+.

We love connecting with you.

But sometimes…we drop off the map.

Lately, we’ve disappeared into the black hole that is full time Hollywood, and you haven’t heard from us (except those of you getting our newsletter. We’ve been seeing you a lot!)

Know that even when we’re away, we’re thinking of you.

We’re forever committed to helping you live your showbiz dreams, whatever they may be. Nothing gives us greater pride than helping launch a new career.

Hopefully, you’re next.

Where have we been hiding?

Airplanes, edit bays, screenings of Dying to do Letterman, the sets of our current TV shows and pilots…and meeting many of you!

In other words, in filmmaker heaven.

Meeting You

Many of you have filled out our submission form and sent in reality TV show and documentary series pitches. How are the ideas? So far, every one of them has been pitched passionately, and that makes us happy.

Making film & TV is not for people without passion.

We’re responding as fast as we can, but have many more to get to.

Sent us an idea and haven’t heard from us yet? Hang in there…we will get back to you.

Those of you already getting our newsletter know we’ve been sharing all of our tips and secrets on making pitch tapes to sell your shows. Hope you’re enjoying them!

Dying to do Letterman

So many of you were a huge part of our successful Kickstarter campaign, and we can’t wait to get you all your goodies.

(For those that missed the campaign, we’ve also been very quietly running an IndieGoGo page where you can still pledge, get your copy of the movie, and some other goodies unique to the new IndieGoGo campaign.)

In addition to playing three festivals this month, winning Best Documentary Film at Clint Eastwood’s famed Carmel Film and Art Festival Friday night, and appearing on Carson Daly and Gayle King, and in numerous press articles, we have some exciting info coming soon about our official release date.

We’ll then announce when we’re allowed to send out your copy of the movie and other Kickstarter rewards.

Commercial Kings

Coming off of Commercial Kings was incredibly rewarding. Rhett and Link are great guys. Besides, what film geeks (like us) wouldn’t want to make a TV show about the filmmaking process? Season 1 is finally wrapped.

Fingers crossed for season 2.

Caged

Wow.

Sometimes, you just get lucky.

Our new show. Caged on MTV.

Wow. (Yeah, that was a double “wow.”)

Just want you to know…it’s some of the greatest real-life story we’ve ever had the privilege of capturing.

Well into our six month shoot in Minden, Louisiana.

Can’t wait for you to see it in 2012.

It’s going to be awesome.

Hope to Connect with You Soon
