He's the man thats doing it, and on top of that, a really great guy. The web is weird, how we can get on with people we have never met, but I think you can tell when you have genuine no bullshiiters, and thats what comes across with you two guys and people like Angelo! You're completely correct: throwing money at a problem never solves it the same way a good dose of creativity will. Bravo to David for going for it! He is an inspiration to truly independent filmmakers in the way he thinks and troubleshoots his way out of a potential budget problem. I agree with him; too many so-called indie filmmakers look to through more money at a problem instead of less money. If you already don't have money, trying to raise more money to shoot a difficult scene is senseless. Mr. Baker is a living example of how to use your brain, not your wallet, to make and complete a superb indie film. I'm proud to call him a friend too -- though we haven't met in person...YET. We offer tidbits and tips to each other all the time. David Baker is THE MAN!
