@ProductionBoys : Thanks for the kind words, and the awesome link! Yes, I think some people get their feathers ruffled when someone like Robert Rodriguez comes in and just “gets things done.” But there’s no denying his message: Just Do It.

@Dilania It was raw all right! I don’t recommend this approach for a highly polished cinematic look, but for our purposes, 43 setups in one day probably helped us get that “B-Movie” feel.

Great post! It sounds like it was a ton of fun and hard work!
I love the rawness of this approach. To only have a few takes of each scene and still be able to create such a great piece shows how much skill and artistic ability goes into producing.

Great Work! This must have been a lot of fun to shoot.

…Love Robert Rodriguez, some people in the industry have strong feelings against him, really study his mindset and you will find he is just full of passion and lets nothing stand in his way.

BTW We tweeted (@ProductionBoys) about Robert Rodriguez’s speech to the graduates this year at UTA a few days ago…it’s very inspiring!
