Independent writer/director Gary King seems like one of nicest, most daring filmmakers we’ve never met–though we hope to change that someday.
He’s currently raising funds to finish, of all things, a MOVIE MUSICAL called How Do You Write a Joe Schermann Song.
Now, full disclosure…we’re not really fans of musicals, though we can respect the hard work and talent that goes into pulling off a big broadway show. And tons of time. And money. Loads of money.
So we can’t even imagine how impossible it is to shoot an independent movie musical. Even attempting it seems like madness…just the kind of spirit we love in a filmmaker! We pledged $25 to this ambitious project. You can do the same here.
